Dia Mirza Vidya Balan and more celebrate Shabana Azmiâs birthday

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi celebrated her 74th birthday with a close-knit gathering of Bollywood friends on Wednesday. The celebration was made even more special as it marked her 50 years in Indian cinema. Joining her were stars like Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza, Urmila Matondkar, and Anjali Anand, along with new mom Richa Chadha and filmmaker Farah Khan. Shabana Azmi’s sister-in-law Tanvi Azmi and daughter-in-law Shibani Dandekar also attended the celebration.

Farah Khan shared a fun video on Instagram featuring Shabana with Vidya and Urmila, giving fans a sneak peek of the celebration. Actress Dia Mirza also shared heartfelt photos and a touching message for Shabana, calling her their “inspiration” and celebrating her cinematic journey. “Happy Birthday Shabana Amma! You are the glue that holds us together,” she wrote, adding how cherished Shabana is.
