Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour and more star as reformed supervillains in the new Thunderbolts* teaser trailer. It starts with Florence’s character Yelena Belova knocking at her father Alexei Shostakov or Red Guardian’s (David Harbour) door late at night. The two get along, while Yelena opens up about being unfulfilled in her life.

It also references to moments from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which starred Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier. Yelena is seen reading a news report from John Walker (Wyatt Russell), which suggests that the movie is set sometime after the events of 2021’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
The movie also stars Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) in leading roles. Directed by Jake Schreier and produced by Kevin Feige, Thunderbolts* is slated to hit the theatres on May 2, 2025. Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, Jason Tamez and Scarlett Johansson serve as executive producers of the movie.
