Vivek Agnihotriâs The Delhi Files gets a release date

Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, known for impactful films like The Kashmir Files and The Vaccine War, has announced the release date for his much-awaited project The Delhi Files – The Bengal Chapter. The film is set to release on August 15, 2025. Agnihotri made the announcement on social media with a poster, promising audiences another hard-hitting cinematic journey.

The filmmaker revealed that his team went through a rigorous research process, traveling across 20 states, reading over 100 books, and analyzing thousands of archived documents. Agnihotri once again teams up with producer Abhishek Agarwal, known for his work on The Kashmir Files, through his banner Abhishek Agarwal Arts. Together, they aim to deliver a compelling story based on real events.

As anticipation builds, The Delhi Files – The Bengal Chapter is expected to follow in the footsteps of Agnihotri’s previous successes, offering a bold narrative that explores significant chapters of Indian history. The film will be directed by Agnihotri and produced under the banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Pallavi Joshi.
