Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light has received critical acclaim in France, releasing in over 185 theatres on October 2. Distributed by Condor Distribution, the film has touched the hearts of French audiences with its universal themes of identity and resilience, earning rave reviews from major publications. Les Inrockuptibles awarded the film five stars, praising it as “a perfect loop that probes the capacity of beings to heal their wounds.” Meanwhile, Le Monde applauded Kapadia’s depiction of Mumbai as “a falsely enchanted merry-go-round.”

Following its Grand Prix win at the Cannes Film Festival, All We Imagine as Light has continued to make an impact globally.
