Taylor’s popular Eras Tour had also created history by becoming the first tour to surpass the $1 billion mark. It surpassed the records set by Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. The singer has reached the height by performing 60 live shows in 8 months. She sold 4.3 million tickets, with ticket prices at 238.95 dollars approximately.
She also increased her revenue with the release of her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department. The album contains 31 songs, that have broken several records. The album garnered 1.5 million first week sales. 700,000 of those sales were from vinyl copies. That breaks Swift’s own record for the largest sales week for an album on vinyl in the modern era.
The album also became a popular music platform’s most-streamed album in a single day, in less than 12 hours after its release.
