In pics: Superboys of Malegaon shines at the 68th BFI London Film Festival

Superboys of Malegaon was screened on October 10 at the Vue West End theatre at the 68th BFI London Film Festival. Directed by Reema Kagti and written by Varun Grover, the film features Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Shashank Arora in key roles. The film received a positive response from the packed theatre.

The film’s plot follows a group of passionate amateur filmmakers as they set out to create parody films in their humble town, capturing the essence of community, resilience, and the transformative power of cinema.

On the red carpet, Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Adarsh Gourav posed together. Zoya Akhtar looked lovely in a printed skirt paired with a brown blouse and boots. Ritesh Sidhwani looked dapper in a dark grey suit, Reema Kagti looked chic in a brown jacket and baggy pants while the star of the film, Adarsh Gourav looked handsome in a light grey suit.
