Do Patti trailer: Kajol solves the case of a deceptive love triangle

The trailer of Kriti Sanon and Kajol’s mystery-thriller, Do Patti has been released and it promises action, intrigue, deception and drama. The film will see Kajol essaying the role of a cop while Kriti plays a double role. The duo will be sharing the screen again after Dilwale (2015) which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.
Kriti plays a double role, portraying twin sisters Shelly and Saumya who might have an identical face but are poles apart when it comes to their characteristics. Saumya falls in love with Dhruv (Shaheer Sheikh), however things go haywire when her twin Shelly enters the picture and tries to woo Dhruv. The film revolves around the enmity of the twins, with Kajol solving the crime.
The actress plays a whacky cop, a role that she has essayed for the first time in her career.
Television heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh, too, plays a key role in setting the narrative, with him seemingly confused between the sisters. Kriti, on the other hand, oscillates between a woman who is meek and a character that is dark and selfish.
Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Do Patti will be released on October 25 on Netflix.
Kriti Sanon has already had two releases this year, namely Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Crew. And for Do Patti, the actress will also wear the hat of a producer.
Kajol, on the other hand, has Sarzameen, Maa and Maharagni- Queen of Queens in the pipeline.
