Salman Khanâs ex Somy Ali defends actor amidst Lawrence Bishnoi threats

Revealing that she was supposed to join Salman Khan during the hunt, she told a leading news portal that the actor has nothing to apologise for. She shared, “Why should he apologise for something he didn’t know about? That’s like doing something inadvertently, and unintentionally and being forced to apologise for it. It makes no sense. It’s not about ego. People say that he (Salman) is very arrogant and he has a reputation. I have nothing to do with him or his family today. I just don’t want anyone murdered, in Bollywood or Hollywood. Violence is never the answer.” 

She further added that Salman Khan did not know that the Bishnoi community worships blackbucks and she wants to talk to Lawrence Bishnoi to understand his point of view. She also said that she wants to speak to him when she visits India in November this year. 

Somy’s statements come days after Salman Khan received a fresh threat. A message was sent to Mumbai’s traffic police demanding 5 crore to end enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi. The message claimed that upon failing to pay, he would risk a fate worse than Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddiqui who was recently murdered in Mumbai.
