Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley welcome first baby

Actress Margot Robbie and her husband, producer Tom Ackerley, have officially embraced parenthood, welcoming their first child, a baby boy, on October 17. The couple, who met on the set of Suite Française in 2013, has kept their personal lives relatively private, surprising fans with the happy news after nearly eight years of marriage. According to reports, Margot gave birth two weeks before her expected due date, with both families soon arriving in Los Angeles to meet the newborn.

The two first sparked romance rumours on set, marrying in an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, in December 2016. Reflecting on their relationship, Margot had previously shared how her friendship with Tom blossomed into a love she initially thought was one-sided, ultimately leading to a partnership that “made so much sense.”

On the professional front, Margot will soon portray Catherine Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell, alongside Jacob Elordi. With production beginning in 2025, the film will explore the dark romance of Brontë’s characters. Her upcoming movie, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, releases in May 2025, promising fans another look at her range.
