One Direction singer Liam Payneâs funeral to be held next week

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne’s funeral is likely to be held next week. The singer passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel room balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As per reports, he had consumed drugs and emergency services were alerted of his aggressive behaviour ahead of his passing.

As per reports in the Sun UK, Liam Payne’s body will reach the UK in a couple of days and his funeral might be held next week in St Paul’s Cathedral in Wolverhampton. Liam’s family has not confirmed the news so far.

Liam Payne’s death left his fans and the music industry in shock. As per reports, multiple substances were found in his body including pink cocaine. 

The members of One Direction released a joint statement as they mourned his loss. They wrote, “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans. We will miss him terribly.
