Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna at The Sabarmati Report trailer launch

The trailer of The Sabarmati Report was released today in the presence of the cast members Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. The film is based on the Godhra train burning incident, one of the most harrowing incidents in India’s history. On the morning of February 27, 2002, a sudden fire broke out in the Sabarmati Express, killing 59 pilgrims and karsevaks who were returning from Ayodhya. Vikrant plays the role of a journalist in the film who is on a quest to uncover the truth behind the incident. He is accompanied by Raashii in his journey and Ridhi also plays the role of a journalist in the film. For the trailer launch event, the three actors donned t-shirts with the name of their film written on it. Raashii styled the shirt with a black skirt and blazer while Ridhi wore it over a black sheer dress. Vikrant on the other hand wore a black sweatshirt.
