Varun Dhawan on being excited to star alongside Jackie Shroff

As the release of Baby John approaches, Varun Dhawan shared his excitement about working alongside the legendary Jackie Shroff. At a press conference in Mumbai, Varun expressed how enjoyable it was to collaborate with Jackie, describing him as a chilled-out man and praising his kind treatment of people off-screen. He also noted that he learned a lot from Jackie, calling him one of the coolest actors in the industry.                                     

Varun also praised Jackie’s professionalism, mentioning how the veteran star gave him the freedom to perform during their action scenes together. The two had a great time working on set, with Varun expressing gratitude for the opportunity to share the screen with him.

The film’s producer, Atlee, had Jackie Shroff in mind for the role of the antagonist Babbar Sher right from the start. Varun revealed that Jackie exceeded everyone’s expectations in this role, calling it “Jackie Shroff 3.0,” showcasing a new, intense side of the actor. Jackie’s portrayal of the villain has already captured the audience’s attention, particularly through his menacing presence in the trailer.
