Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar are collaborating on an action thriller, with a star-studded cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna. The film’s title which was being kept under wraps has been revealed now. The film is apparently called Durandhar. To celebrate the wrap of the Amritsar schedule of the film, the team called for a customized cake.
Actor Rakesh Bedi shared a photo of the cake on Instagram, which featured images of the cast and director, along with gun designs. The cake also displayed the message, “It’s a Schedule Wrap! Durandhar,” confirming the film’s title.
The film, based on true events related to the rise of Indian intelligence agencies, is set to explore the world of espionage. The production team has completed look tests to ensure character authenticity, and director Aditya Dhar is excited to delve into this genre following his success with URI .
The movie is slated for release in the second half of 2025, with Ranveer Singh eager to return to the set after completing the first schedule.
