On the occasion of his 68th birthday today, his next project in association with Prime Video was announced.

The film is titled Subedaar where the actor is all set to don yet another intriguing role.

The plot supposedly revolves around the themes of resilience, redemption, and complex human relationships. It’s set against the backdrop of India’s heartland.

The caption of the post read,  ”A special day calls for a special announcement! ? #Subedaar, new movie, coming soon.”

As for his character in the film, Kapoor will be a former soldier by the name of Arjun Maurya.

The story highlights his struggle to cope with a civilian lifestyle and the challenges that come with it.

There’s also an emotional angle to the story where he will be seen having a complicated relationship with his daughter.
 

Along with grappling with this sudden change in his life, there’s also an emotional turmoil that he has to face.

There’s also the angle of an antagonist in the film and how he confronts the situation. 

The film is directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by Vikram Malhotra.

The first look sets the tone for an emotional rollercoaster ride mixed with thrilling subplots that only promise to deliver an intriguing watch.

The film is slated to release on OTT in 2025. The official date is yet to be shared by the makers.
