Will Siddhant Chaturvedi Star In Yuvraj Singh’s Biopic? Here’s Why Fans Think So

Even though cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s biopic was announced in August, the makers had not revealed the cast of the movie. However, Siddhant Chaturvedi’s latest Insta Story has made fans believe that he might be playing the cricketer in his biopic. Here’s why.

The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor hosted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ on his Instagram Stories, where he answered everything his fans asked and posted the replies. 

In one of the questions, a fan asked what the actor’s dream role is. “What’s your dream role and challenge that you eagerly want to take?” the question read. 

The actor’s reply is something nobody saw coming. Posting a picture of Yuvraj Singh in his Team India jersey along with a lion emoji, Siddhant added the song Jungli Sher by Divine as his reply. 

This left his fans speculating about whether he will take on the role of the ace cricketer in his biopic.

This was not the first time Siddhant’s name was associated with Yuvraj’s biopic. 

In an earlier interview from 2020, the cricketer himself had expressed his wish to see Siddhant Chaturvedi play him in his biopic.

He was asked who would he like to see playing him in his biopic, to which he had jokingly replied that he would probably play himself, but that might look desperate. 

Keeping the jokes aside, he said, “See, that’s the director’s job to decide. If it’s going to be a Bollywood film, then Siddhant Chaturvedi is a good option; I’d love to see him in the film.”

Earlier this year, the official social media handle of T-Series Films announced Yuvraj Singh’s biopic in a post. 

“Relive the legend’s journey from the pitch to the heart of millions – Yuvraj Singh’s story of grit and glory is coming soon on the big screen! #SixSixes,” the announcement read.

Sharing his feelings about this, the cricketer said, “I am deeply honoured that my story will be showcased to millions of my fans across the globe by Bhushan ji & Ravi. Cricket has been my greatest love and source of strength through all the highs and lows. I hope this film inspires others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams with unwavering passion.”
