Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler part ways after three years of dating

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler have ended their relationship after more than three years together. Reports suggest the split happened around the end of 2024, as Butler was noticeably absent from Gerber’s recent family vacation in Mexico. The 23-year-old model and 33-year-old actor first sparked dating rumours in late 2021 and confirmed their relationship in early 2022, attending events like the Met Gala and award shows together.  

Throughout their relationship, Butler grew close to Gerber’s family, including her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. The couple often shared affectionate moments during public outings, with sources describing them as deeply in love as recently as Memorial Day weekend in 2024. However, despite their visible romance, Gerber consistently expressed a desire to keep their relationship private.

Before dating Butler, Gerber was linked to actor Jacob Elordi, while Butler had a long-term relationship with Vanessa Hudgens, which ended in 2020.
