Hina Khan Shares Pics From Her Breast Cancer Journey: “2025, Please Be Kind”

Hina Khan was last seen in the Punjabi comedy film Shinda Shinda No Papa

Hina Khan has shared a photo dump on Instagram reflecting on the memories created in 2024. The post featured glimpses of her pilgrimage to Mecca, moments from her shoots, a beach sunset with her boyfriend, and a family vacation. 

She has also shared snippets from her time at the hospital. Hina Khan was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in June last year.

In the caption, Hina wrote, “2024 Photodump… A year that was equal to a Lifetime’s Experience. This year was full of shocks, pain, tears, small joys, scars, thousands of stitches, positivity, hope, faith, happiness and a lot of Love. It taught me patience, endurance, discipline, determination and Gratitude. I couldn’t have possibly expressed all of it even in 500 pictures but somehow managed to put it out in two Lots. This being the first of the Two.Will share the next in a bit.” 

Soon after, Hina Khan shared the second photo dump showing her battle with cancer, her loved ones’ constant support, her moments of resiliency, and the milestones that marked her recovery journey. Wishing for a kinder 2025, she wrote in the caption, “Alhamdullilah. Gratitude. 2025 plz be kind. Good health, Good health, Good health. Dua.”

Hina Khan’s industry peers and friends shared messages of love and support in the comments section. Producer Ektaa Kapoor wrote, “Warrior Queen.” Shraddha Arya added, “Love, prayers and Power…lots of it and more.” Sunita Rajwar said, “Ameen.”

In an interview with PTI, Hina Khan talked about balancing her career with cancer treatment. The actress stated that she stayed professionally active throughout her treatment to help “normalise” working while battling the disease.

She said, “I am still that Hina. The old Hina was also courageous and strong and this Hina is also very strong and courageous and, in fact, she has become much stronger. “I have been working throughout my journey. I made sure to normalise this (cancer diagnosis) and to feel normal. I was working, shooting, travelling, and finished dubbing since my chemo started. I did my ramp walks… I finished my radiation session and came here (for interviews). If my body allows it, I will (work).”

On the work front, Hina Khan was last seen in the Gippy Grewal starrer Punjabi comedy film Shinda Shinda No Papa.
