At the heart of the celebrations was the legendary Usha Mangeshkar, who at the age of 90, graced the occasion with her soulful renditions. Her performances of classics like Thumak Chalat Ramachandra and the bhajan. He Ram Shriram left the audience spellbound, resonating with the divinity of the moment.

Mayuresh Pai, known for his deep devotion and stirring performances, offered heartfelt bhajans such as Payoji Mene Ramratan and Hanuman Baan, evoking profound spiritual energy. Gauri Yadwadkar enhanced the atmosphere with her recently launched melodious song and a mesmerizing recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, leaving an indelible mark on the audience. The celebrations were further elevated by the contributions of other esteemed artists, including Pandit Bhavdeep Jaipurwale, Durgesh Rajbhatt, Swapnil Pandit, and Ajay Sonawane, who collectively transformed the temple into a sanctuary of devotion and harmony.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, greeted the performers with reverence and fondly remembered the late Lata Mangeshkar, whose voice continues to inspire generations. Usha Mangeshkar, reflecting on the occasion, expressed her honor and pride in witnessing and offering devotion to Lord Rama through music. She eloquently described the Ram Mandir as not just a place of worship but a timeless symbol of India’s rich heritage, unity, and unwavering faith. Her words underscored the temple’s significance as a beacon of dharma, peace, and inclusivity, reminding the nation of Lord Rama’s eternal virtues.

Cultural chronicler Rhythm Wagholikar, along with his wife Anuja, participated in the divine celebrations. Rhythm, who has consistently highlighted India’s cultural legacy, shared his thoughts, stating, “The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is more than just a temple; it is a timeless symbol of faith, unity, and cultural pride. It embodies the spiritual essence of Lord Rama’s virtues—truth, righteousness, and compassion—and serves as a guiding light for generations to walk the path of dharma.” Rhythm shared moments from the celebration on his social media, describing it as an unforgettable experience, filled with divine energy and a deep sense of gratitude.

Gaurav Lal played a pivotal role in assisting with the celebrations at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. His contributions added to the seamless execution of the event, ensuring the occasion was both memorable and spiritually enriching. Amid the festivities, he shared a beautiful moment with Mr. Champatrai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, capturing the essence of devotion and camaraderie. A timeless tribute to the voice that touched millions, inspiring generations with her divinity. Didi lives on, not just in her melodies, but in the hearts of all who pass by.”

Mayuresh Pai, reflecting on the event, shared his overwhelming emotions, stating, “On the auspicious occasion of Pratishtha Dwadashi, with the blessings of my Saraswati, Lata Didi, and her wish, I sang a few devotional songs during the Raag Seva at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir alongside Usha Tai. The Raag Seva began with the divine sound of Lata Didi’s voice in Ramarpan, which reverberated throughout the temple, making the enchanting smile of Ram Lalla appear even more captivating to me.”

Mayuresh Pai shared a series of meaningful pictures that captured key moments during the first-anniversary celebrations of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. One of the most touching images was of Usha Mangeshkar at the Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, a tribute to her and her sister’s monumental legacy in Indian music.
