Author Neil Gaiman accused of sexual assault by multiple women

British author Neil Gaiman, best known for The Sandman, American Gods and Coraline, has reportedly been accused of sexual assault by eight women including fans and his son’s nanny.
A recent report by the New York Magazine mentions new allegations of non-consensual BDSM and sexual assault of young fans. Among the victims is Neil Gaiman and his ex-wife Amanda Palmer’s son’s former babysitter. She alleges that Gaiman sexually assaulted her in a bathtub in the backyard of their New Zealand home.
The victim also alleges that Gaiman assaulted her under the blankets in a hotel room where his son was also present. The author’s representatives have denied the accusations calling them “false, not to mention, deplorable.” She filed a report back in January 2023.
Another victim shared details of a disturbing encounter with Gaiman at a book signing in the ‘90s. She told the New York Magazine, “He wanted me to call him ‘master’ immediately… It was like he’d gone into this ritual that had nothing to do with me.”
Studios were quick to respond following the allegations. Gaiman’s upcoming projects including the third season of Good Omens have been cancelled or delayed.
