The trailer for Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film Deva has been released, giving a sneak peek into a film that is fierce and packed with action. Shahid Kapoor, in the title role of Dev Ambre, is a force to reckon with, delivering electrifying performances and intense stunts.
Shahid is out on a mission to kill terrorists after they killed his fellow cop. His character demands for full freedom in that mission hinting that he will not stop at anything until he gets what he wants.
In the latter half, Shahid’s character beats up a goon and proudly declares himself as the mafia. However, anger is not the only thing that defines him. As the trailer ends, we see his fellow police officer tell him that his anger is his biggest fear. The trailer then cuts to the final scene where Shahid is aiming his gun at a criminal but struggling to pull the trigger.
Alongside Shahid, Pooja Hegde stands out, playing a key role that adds depth to the high-energy narrative, with her presence bringing both grace and strength to the story. The film also stars Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati.
Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, Deva is an explosive action thriller set to release on January 31, 2025.
