Filmfare was the first one to inform you that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in talks with director SS Rajamouli for a film which also stars Mahesh Babu. Now, the actress has flown down to Hyderabad, fuelling speculations about the film.
Clips of her arriving at Hyderabad went viral last night. She was seen dressed in a brown outfit along with a beige cap. The actress avoided the paparazzi as she made her way out of the airport.
Reports are suggesting that the actress is in the city to participate in a grand announcement for Rajamouli’s upcoming film. This will mark the actress’ return to Indian films after a long time.
Meanwhile, our source had earlier told us that the negotiations between Priyanka and Rajamouli have been all positive and the final details are being worked out.
The film is written by Vijayendra Prasad and is believed to be an action adventure with the Amazon rainforest as a key location. Those in the know believe the film might release sometime in 2027 or 2028.
