2 min readRaveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani has made her Bollywood debut with the film Azaad which also stars Aaman Devgan and Ajay Devgn. The star kid has been receiving a lot of praise for her performance and her dance skills. In a conversation with Filmfare’s Editor-in-Chief Jitesh Pillaai, for his show In The Ring With Filmfare, the 19-year-old actress spoke about the golden advice Raveena Tandon gave her before she made her debut.
Rasha revealed, “A lot of dos – Of course, staying humble is not something only about the film but in general in life. But one thing that my nana told me is, my mom also took forward and reiterated with me, was that the director is boss on the set. You just silently listen. There is no need for giving any input – no. You have to surrender and listen to what the director says because he has a vision, and he knows what he is doing.”
She continued, “So to listening to Gattu sir on the set – I think when she told me that, it stuck with me a lot because even many times in life when someone tells you something, you feel like – ‘no but why can’t I do it like this?’ But on set, when you listen to what the director is saying or DOP for that matter, it will help you only. Because they have had so many years of experience, and we are nothing compared to that. So, when they tell us what to do, it’s like, we are entering their imagination and vision.”
