Monali Thakur hospitalized after struggling to breathe during live show

Singer Monali Thakur was hospitalized in Dinhata of Cooch Behar, West Bengal after she experienced breathing issues during a live performance recently. She was performing at the Dinhata Festival in Cooch Behar on Tuesday evening.

The singer stopped her performance midway after feeling sick. While the audience stared with confusion, Monali addressed them saying, “I sincerely apologise to you. I am very sick today. The show was on the verge of getting cancelled.”

According to several reports, Monali was first rushed to Dinhata Sub-District Hospital. She was then transferred to a nearby private hospital in Cooch Behar. Reports also suggest that she is currently undergoing treatment there.

Recently, Monali also addressed being harassed by an event management team. She walked off the stage midway during her performance in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The singer later said, “It is absolutely unacceptable to treat vendors poorly, cheat them of their hard-earned money, or con them in any way. Disrespecting and harassing those working behind the scenes- whether they are backstage crew, artist managers, or artist coordinators-is not the way forward.”
