Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force is off to a fantastic start at the box office, earning ₹73.20 crores over its opening weekend. It made ₹15.30 crores on Friday, ₹26.30 crores on Saturday, and a huge ₹31.60 crores on Sunday, boosted by Republic Day celebrations.
The film, based on the true story of the Indian Air Force’s Sargodha airbase attack in the 1965 Indo-Pakistani war, has been praised for its gripping action and performances. Akshay Kumar and Veer shine as IAF officers, while Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur add to the strong cast.
