Ed Sheeran sings Chuttamalle with Shilpa Rao Janhvi and Jr NTR react

Ed Sheeran surprised fans when he sang his first Telugu-language song at his concert. The English singer performed his rendition of Chuttamalle composed by Anirudh Ravichander from the Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara. He was joined by singer Shilpa Rao.

Videos of Ed Sheeran and Shilpa Rao performing Chuttamalle have gone viral. Ed can be seen nailing the Telugu lyrics. Check out the video here:

Now, Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR have reacted to the moment. The Devara actress took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “What a crossover to wake up to,” with a red heart emoji.

Jr NTR shared a clip of the performance and wrote, “Music has no boundaries and you proved it again Ed! Hearing you sing Chuttamalle in Telugu is truly special.”  

Earlier on Sunday, Ed Sheeran took to the streets of Bengaluru to perform live. However, the local police failed to recognise him and halted his jam session, even pulling the plug on the instruments.

Later, Ed clarified that he had permission to perform at the spot. Taking to his X handle, he wrote, “We had permission to busk btw, hence us playing in that exact spot, was planned out before, it wasn’t just us randomly turning up. All good though.
