Saif Ali Khan says Kareena Kapoor made frantic calls after he was attacked

Saif Ali Khan recently opened up about the night he was stabbed at his residence in Mumbai. Speaking to Delhi Times, the actor recalled his family’s reaction. While Saif revealed that Taimur asked if he was going to die, Kareena Kapoor frantically made calls to their close friends, but no one was picking up at that hour in the night.
Saif also revealed that Kareena was shouting for a rickshaw to take him to the hospital. He added, “Kareena had been out to dinner, and I had some work in the morning, so I stayed in. She came back, we had a chat and went to sleep. After a while, the house help rushed in and said – ‘There’s an intruder! There’s a guy in Jeh’s room with a knife asking for money!’”
While Saif tackled the attacker, Kareena took Jeh out and rushed to Taimur’s room. He said that Kareena was screaming to take the kids out. The actress wanted to get Jeh out of the house as she suspected the attacker or groups of attackers might be around. “Kareena was then shouting for a rickshaw, or a cab or anything. I said, I kind of feel some pain. There’s something wrong with my back,” Saif added.
Saif had reached Lilavati hospital around 3 am on January 16. He underwent a five-hour surgery. The actor was discharged on January 21.
