Rajpal Yadav calls out Ranveer Allahbadia Samay Raina amidst IGL row

Rajpal Yadav has shared his thoughts over the controversy around India’s Got Latent. Ranveer Allahbadia’s appearance on the show alongside Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani and others sparked widespread backlash after the YouTuber and podcaster who goes by BeerBiceps made distasteful remarks.

Rajpal Yadav opened up about his concerns following the incident. In a Zoom video, he called out Ranveer Allahbadia saying, “It’s too embarrassing to watch such videos. Our country is a country of culture. I feel ashamed when I watch such videos.” He also questioned the bid for “sasti popularity” saying, “What is happening in the process of getting this cheap popularity for our younger generation?”

Yadav further said, “I have always felt proud to be an artist. But it is said that when a peacock is very happy, he dances alone in the jungle with his wings spread out, but when he looks at his feet, he cries. Watching such people gives us a feel of the peacock.”

The comedy actor also called for respect for parents, society and the country at large.

As per reports, a case has been filed against India’s Got Latent and those involved in its making. Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina have issued apologies on their respective handles.
