Kannappa Teaser: Akshay Kumar And Prabhas Outshine In This Epic Spectacle

Vishnu Manchu stars as the tribal warrior Thinnadu. When war breaks loose, many bloodbaths make him question his faith. The movie will explore how Thinnadu eventually becomes a worshipper of Shiva. Mohanlal stars as Kirata while Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal are Lord Shiva and Parvati respectively. Towards the end, Prabhas makes his entry as Rudra.

Apart from Vishnu, Prabhas, Akshay and Kajjal, the movie also stars Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Madhoo, Preity Mukhundhan, Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran, Brahmanandam, and Mukesh Rishi in pivotal roles.

Akshay Kumar was also present at the event. He noted that he was “honoured to be a part of this incredible journey.” Director Mukesh Kumar Singh had said, “Kannappa is more than just a story; it is a tribute to faith, devotion, and the power of transformation. Every frame has been meticulously crafted to bring this legendary tale to life in a way that resonates with modern audiences while staying true to its roots. We are excited for the world to experience the grandeur of Kannappa.”

The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on April 25, 2025.
