Oscars 2025: Halle Berry and Adrien Brody recreate infamous kiss

Halle Berry brought back an infamous Oscars moment from 2003. The actress ran into Adrien Brody at the red carpet and recreated their kiss. She was clicked kissing The Brutalist actor at the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
However, when asked about the unexpected kiss at a later date, Brody had mentioned that he did not want to make Berry feel bad. “We live in a very conscious time, which is a wonderful thing… Nothing that I ever do or have done or would’ve done is ever done with the intention of making anyone feel bad,” he said.
However, the recent red-carpet kiss from Halle unfolded a series of laughter and applause. While the attendees cheered, the two actors embraced each other and put up the happiest of faces while recreating the moment.
Adrien Brody went on to win his second Oscar at Sunday night‘s ceremony, taking home the Oscar for best actor in a leading role for his starring role in The Brutalist. Anora took home the award for Best Picture, while Mikey Madison was awarded the Best Actress. Latvian film Flow won the Best Animated Feature award, and Sean Baker took home the Best Director award for Anora.
