SSMB29: Video Of Massive Set Of SS Rajamouli Mahesh Babus Film Goes Viral

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project featuring the ensemble cast of Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran has created quite the buzz. The makers have not revealed anything about the project, but a video has gone viral on social media, giving a glimpse of the massive set of the film.
The leaked video shows a massive set under construction in Odisha’s Koraput district, specifically at the Talamali Hill. This is where the next schedule will be filmed reportedly. The breathtaking views of the hills and the vast landscape caught in the video are believed to match the kind of epic, adventurous settings required for the film. The video also showed some of the props that were placed for shooting and several tents and vanity vans that were placed for the cast and crew. The movie, described as a global adventure, is expected to feature African forest backdrops, making this Odisha location a fitting choice. The project is tentatively titled SSMB29.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran were recently spotted together at the Hyderabad airport, heading to Odisha for the shoot. In the new schedule, Rajamouli will reportedly film adventure scenes on Mahesh Babu and the supporting cast at Koraput, Jeypore and Deomali. However, according to reports, Priyank Chopra Jonas will not be taking part in this schedule. The actress was in Hyderabad earlier this year and stayed there for some time to finish the Hyderabad schedule of the film.
SSMB 29 will be on the lines of Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones series. It marks Rajamouli’s first collaboration with Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. The film is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 900-1000 crores, which places it among India’s most expensive films. Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad had written the story and producer KL Narayana is mounting the film on a massive scale.
