Alia Bhatt’s last movie Jigra didn’t perform well at the box office. The Vasan Bala directorial starred Vedang Raina in a key role, alongside Alia. During an exclusive interaction with Jay Shetty, the actress broke her silence and reacted to the film’s failure.
Speaking further, Alia also mentioned that she wants to enjoy many family moments, alongside working in movies. She noted that a movie not doing well makes her work harder. The actress hinted at not giving up due to one movie’s failure. Jigra‘s director Vasan Bala had also noted about the film’s box office debacle. He said, “This is why I need to analyse. Kuch toh hua hai na (Something has happened, right)? Something has happened where people have stayed away, something that they have not bought, something that they didn’t feel the need to come to the theatre. If at all any other actor decides to give their time, his or her, then you know, make it worth it.”
