Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are one of the most sought-after couples in the industry. Recently, the couple attended Ranbir’s grandfather Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary celebration together. Amid countless social media posts from that event, one that caught social media attention was Ranbir seemingly not helping Alia stand up post a photo-op.
Previously, Ranbir had faced criticism, with trolls on social media addressing him as a misogynist. However, the new video has gained widespread attention as Ranbir seemingly got up without helping Alia, who was right behind him. Amid the negativity, Alia has liked a reel on social media, supporting Ranbir Kapoor. The reel, a compilation of happy moments between Alia and Ranbir was titled, “The Ranbir Kapoor they don’t post about.”
This isn’t the first time Alia and Ranbir have supported each other publicly. Alia had reacted to the viral ‘wipe-off comment’ gaining widespread negativity. She had said, “Initially, I was a little bit more defensive. Later on, I was dismissive. But I think the position I am in, with privilege that I have, I have grown into a person who feels that I have nothing to complain. It doesn’t look nice for me to say that I don’t like what people are saying.”
