Anthony Mackie reveals how Brave New World connects to Avengers: Doomsday

Marvels’ anticipated film, Captain America: Brave New World, is gearing up for its release on February 14. During a recent press conference, Anthony Mackie (Captain America) shared how Brave New World will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Much like Captain America: The First Avenger set the stage for Avengers: Endgame. In addition to this Mackie shared that when he had a conversation with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige during Avengers: Endgame, how it would “take time” for fans and cast alike to get over the “emotional crescendo” of the movie that brought the curtain down on the Infinity Saga.

Anthony expressed, “I feel like this movie is the building block for the next massive moment in the MCU, one that will lead to Avengers: Doomsday.”

He continued, “Just as The First Avenger played a crucial role in shaping the future, Brave New World sets the stage for even bigger events down the line. He emphasized that the movie not only opens the door for new stories but also creates connections to highly anticipated films like Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts.”

The actor expressed his excitement and pride in being part of this pivotal starting point in the new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
