Anurag Basus Metro… In Dino To Not Release Before 2026?

According to Times Of India, Basu is now shifting focus to his next project starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela. The teaser for the same has already been out while a Diwali 2025 release has been locked. While the newer developments are almost confirmed, the release date for Metro… In Dino hasn’t been revealed. Audiences may have to wait until 2026 to witness Anurag Basu’s urban drama on the big screen.

Metro… In Dino stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in leading roles. While major details about the movie are under the wraps, Basu had hinted at Pankaj Tripathi playing an interesting character. “Pankaj is even different in this film, Metro… In Dino. It’s absolutely different. In Metro, you’ll see it in a completely different character,” he added.

Last year, the director had also mentioned, “Metro…In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people. It has been a while since I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me.”
