Urvashi Rautela has had quite the time promoting Daaku Maharaaj. The actress was embroiled in controversies ever since she started speaking about the movie. At first, she was reprimanded for speaking about her expensive gifts while being asked about Saif Ali Khan’s attack. Second, when the justifications came in, Urvashi was still reprimanded for not understanding the gravity of the situation. Overall, her promotions for Daaku Maharaaj became a meme fest, one that never stops showing up on our social feeds.

As the movie is gearing up for its OTT run, many reports have suggested that the actress might be removed from the movie before the digital release. The speculations come after the streaming platform shared a poster with every actor in the film, but her. She was also excluded from a carousel on the streaming platform’s social media account and later added twice. However, there has been no official confirmation and audiences may have to wait to know the truth until Daaku Maharaaj drops on February 21.

Apart from Urvashi, the movie stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead. The other cast members include Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Rishi, Chandini Chowdary and Pradeep Rawat.

Daaku Maharaaj is an action-packed movie where an officer and his wife take a stand against injustice. The story follows Balakrishna’s character’s transformation into a fearless bandit.
