Badshah gets flak for saying âœFree Samay Rainaâ at his concert

Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia are embroiled in controversy since Allahbadia made offensive remarks on an episode of Raina’s India’s Got Latent. Amidst all the backlash, several celebrities have voiced their opinion.

Recently, Badshah showed his support for Samay Raina at his concert in Vadodara, Gujarat. During his performance, the singer and rapper said, “Free Samay Raina,” towards the end of his show. The audience cheered in response.

The video went viral. While some agreed with Badshah, others were quick to point out that Samay isn’t in jail. A commentor wrote, “Samay is not in jail, someone tell Badshah.” 

Badshah had appeared on India’s Got Latent. Samay also featured in the music video of Baawe with rapper Raftaar.

The India’s Got Latent controversy

Ranveer Allahbadia made an offensive remark on an episode of Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. Amidst public outrage, cases were filed against those who appeared on the panel including Samay and Ranveer. Since then, all episodes of IGL have been deleted and Samay posted an apology.
