The late Irrfan Khan would have turned 57 today. The actor was born on January 7, 1967 in Tonk, Rajasthan. While we celebrate his legacy, we cannot help and shed light on his Filmfare Awards appearances that are still popular today. One of those appearance include him having a fun banter with Shah Rukh Khan at the Filmfare stage.

During his appearance at the 61st Filmfare Awards, Shah Rukh Khan playfully asked Irrfan if he ever wants to make his scenes commercial. Shah Rukh said, “Low angle entry and dhishoom dhishoom… don’t you feel like making your scene commercial?”
Irrfan’s hilarious reply left the audience in splits. “Yes, of course. Paise zyada milte hain, mehnat nahi karni padti. Lekin main inspire hota rehta hoon aur act bhi karta hoon uss tarah se. Maine AV banaye hain. Mujhe laga aaj Filmfare hain toh dikha dunga main. (I can get more money without working hard. I get inspired (by commercial films) and try to act that way. I have made an AV to show it to the audience at Filmfare as well),” he said.

The audience started laughing at Irrfan’s answer. Shah Rukh, too, couldn’t help but nod his head in agreement. The actors worked together in the 2009 movie Billu.
