Varun Dhawan’s much-awaited film Baby John started with promising numbers on its opening day, grossing an estimated Rs 11.25 crore in India on Christmas. However, the film’s performance saw a drop on its second day. On Day 2, Baby John collected around Rs 4.5 crore. The Hindi occupancy rate dropped to around 11.09%, signalling a major decline in audience interest due to a working day.
Made on a hefty budget, Baby John needs to earn almost Rs 200 crore to be considered a box office success. The film Baby John stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav and more in crucial roles. Baby John also has Salman Khan’s cameo which has made quite a stir among Bhaijaan’s fans. The film hit the theatres on December 25, 2024 and is expected to earn well during the weekend.
