Box Office Update: Heres how much Chhaava raked in on Day 4

Vicky Kaushal has made a spectacular comeback with Chhaava, which is on track to become Bollywood’s first blockbuster of 2025. After a few box office setbacks, this historical action film has put him back in the spotlight. The movie has also reinforced Rashmika Mandanna’s streak of hits, making it her fourth consecutive success after Varisu (2023), Animal (2023), and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024). After a strong debut and an excellent opening weekend, Chhaava proved its staying power by dominating the box office on its first Monday, earning nearly twice as much as the next seven highest-grossing Hindi films of the year on their respective Mondays.  

On Monday, Chhaava raked in Rs 24 crore in India, a 50.52% dip from its Sunday earnings of Rs 48.5 crore, but still an impressive figure. With this, the film’s domestic total has soared to Rs 140.5 crore, while its worldwide collection stands at Rs 164.75 crore. Given its reported budget of Rs 130 crore, the film has already broken even, making it the first major Hindi release of the year to comfortably surpass its costs.  

The film maintained a solid 31.62% occupancy in the Hindi market throughout Monday. The morning shows saw a 17.80% turnout, but the numbers kept rising—27.11% in the afternoon, 34.12% in the evening, and peaking at 47.46% for the night screenings.
