Bridgerton Season 4 sneak peek: Benedict and Sophieâs Masquerade ball and more
2 min read
Bridgerton season 4 is currently in production. The newest season would focus on Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Beckett.
Fans cannot keep calm about the upcoming season, so the makers stepped in to share delightful clips and keep the hopes high. At a recent fan event, organized for Valentine’s Day, the makers showed glimpses from the new season. Alongside Luke Thompson’s Benedict and Yerin Ha’s Sophie, regular characters like Adjoa Andoh’s Lady Danbury, Golda Rushevell’s Queen Charlotte, Jonathan Bailey’s Viscount Bridgerton and more are returning to delight the ton.
We were also given a sneak peek into the sets to be used for the season. In one of the glimpses, Luke Thompson says, “Don’t worry, I’ll not tell my mother.” Newer characters, including Lady Araminta (Katie Leung), Rosamund Li (Michelle Mao) and Posy Li (Isabella Wei) also make appearances.
During the fan event, Luke, Yerin and showrunner Jess Brownell sat with Golda Rushevell and Hugh Sachs to discuss scenes from the upcoming season. Book fans would be delighted to know that the season is planning to remain “faithful” to the popular moments in An Offer From A Gentleman. Jess confirms that the masquerade ball would be a “very large chunk of the first episode.” She also noted Benedict would have Romeo vibes while the characters’ costumes from the ball would confirm where they are romantically.
Announcing the appearance of other cast members, both Luke and Yerin showed excitement about Hyacinth, Gregory and Francesca’s storylines in season 4. The trio also discussed about showing the secondary characters more, given Sophie stars as a maid in the story.
Other references to the book, including Benedict’s My Cottage and the lake scene would also be a part of the season.
