BTS Jimin gets recognised as an elite soldier during his military service

BTS’s Jimin is making headlines during his military service, having been recognised as an elite soldier. A recent photo shared online shows the star smiling alongside his fellow soldiers, showcasing his upbeat spirit. Jimin enlisted in June and has already completed an early promotion. He was awarded the Division Commander’s Award for best trainee, reflecting his commitment to his military responsibilities.  

In a heartfelt message to BTS’s dedicated fanbase, ARMY, Jimin expressed, “It’s been a little over a month, and while it sometimes feels long, having Jungkook by my side makes time pass quickly. We stay connected with the other members through public phones, and Jungkook is also working hard in the military.”  

Both Jimin and Jungkook are currently serving in the artillery brigade of the 5th Infantry Division, with their scheduled discharge set for June 11, 2025. As BTS members fulfill their military duties, fans eagerly await the group’s return to team activities once everyone has completed their service.
