Daniel Weymanâs character reveal in The Rings of Power finale stuns fans

The finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 has finally aired, and fans are buzzing with excitement. The season’s climax brings jaw-dropping twists, but the biggest shock came when Daniel Weyman’s character revealed his true identity. Social media had been rife with speculation, but the world was floored when the grey-haired stranger uttered the iconic line, “Gandalf. That’s what they’re going to call me, isn’t it?” This moment sent Lord of the Rings fans into a frenzy, cementing this finale as a pivotal moment in TV history.  

Interestingly, Daniel Weyman was kept in the dark about his character’s identity until the very last moment. Recalling the reveal, he said, “I had no idea until right before we filmed the scene. It was a pinch-me moment as a 47-year-old, realizing my childhood dream of being a wizard.”  

Season 2 has been a massive success, garnering over 55 million viewers before the finale even dropped. With stellar performances by Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Charlie Vickers, all eight episodes are now streaming in multiple languages.
