Deepika Padukone , who made her debut in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, is still remembered for her iconic role in that movie. But do you know, it was not her first onscreen appearance?

Before Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone featured alongside Himesh Reshammiya in his music album, Naam Hai Tera. That’s when Deepika Padukone got her first break in the industry. Naam Hai Tera was very well received by the audience and the track has also hit a lot of views online.

Deepika revealed about this in one of the Indian Idol episodes that after Naam hai Tera, Farah Khan noticed her and cast her in Om Shanti Om.

Deepika was most recently seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, sharing the screen with Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, and several other stars.
