Dil To Pagal Hai to re-release in theatres on THIS date

Shah Rukh Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene starrer Dil To Pagal Hai is re-releasing in the theatres. The Yash Chopra directorial is slated to be back on the big screens on February 28. The movie has garnered immense love and praise from the audiences while being one of the top Hindi romantic films.

Sharing the news of the re-release, YRF noted that the movie had also won many praises from the media. Accolades, including three National Awards, seven Filmfare Awards, and several other awards were won by the cast and the crew. During an interaction, Shah Rukh Khan had hilariously noted that he had taught dancing to his co-stars Madhuri and Karisma during the filming of the movie. “I wasn’t the dancer in the film, I was the teacher, ” he added.

When asked if he would like to cast any newer actresses if Dil To Pagal Hai has a sequel, Shah Rukh rejected the idea, stating that he would want Madhuri and Karisma to reprise their roles. He even added that Madhuri and Aishwarya’s dancing in Devdas was a treat for the eyes, so he would be willing to include Aish in the cast. Shah Rukh concluded his answer, stating, “Main heroine ke peeche comfortable feel karta hoon, jab bhi dance hota hain mera. (I feel comfortable behind the heroine, whenever I’m made to dance.)”

While speaking to Miss Malini, Madhuri Dixit had opened up about Dil To Pagal Hai setting many trends. “Yash Ji’s films were always trendy. In his films, the women were always like a centerpiece. The men were important but they revolved around the women. Even if it were a male-centric movie, he made the females very important. I think he brought out that aspect very beautifully (in Dil To Pagal Hai.)”

Alongside Shah Rukh, Madhuri and Karisma, the film also starred Akshay Kumar in a leading role.
