Diljit Dosanjh responds to advisory in Pushpas style

2 min read

Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh took over Mumbai last evening and left the audience wanting for more at his concert. During his performance, he responded to the advisory issued against him ahead of the concert and added a Pushpa twist to it.

He said, “I asked my team yesterday, ‘Has any advisory been issued? They said everything is fine but I woke up in the morning to know that an advisory has been issued. But don’t worry, all advisories are for me. You’ve come to have fun and I will make sure that you have double the fun.”

He then recalled the story of Sagar Manthana (Churning of the ocean) from Hindu mythology and referred to how Lord Shiva drank poison while all the other Gods consumed the holy nectar. However, he emphasised that while Shiva swallowed the poison, he held it in his throat and did not let it destroy him.

Drawing inspiration from this incident, he said that he has learnt that no matter how much poison life and the world throws at anyone, they should never let it seep inside.

He ended his speech by saying “Yeh jhukega nahi” and recreated Allu Arjun’s Pushpa hand gesture.

He also shared a video from the Mumbai concert writing, “I Rise Above Your Advice.”
Diljit Dosanjh was in Mumbai as a part of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. During his previous concert in Chandigarh, the Punjab and Haryana High Court was informed that noise levels at the concert exceeded the permissible limits.
