EXCLUSIVE: How did Sreeleela bag Pushpa 2: The Rules song Kissik?

Sreeleela has been roped in for an item song in Pushpa 2: The Rule, titled Kissik. Previously, Samantha’s Oo Antava from Pushpa: The Rise became a huge hit. While the makers wanted to apply the same formula, the choice for the new item song was Sreeleela.
According to Filmfare’s sources, “There was a conversation going around to repeat Samantha for a special song in the sequel but Pushpa makers wanted a young actress to do the song this time. After watching Sreeleela’s multiple hit numbers and the widely popular song Kurchi Madathapetti, the makers wanted her to be the new, young and fresh face of the special number.”
The song has recently been announced, with Sreeleela as the lead. She was introduced as “The Dancing Queen” with an intriguing poster. The track is releasing with the movie, on December 5, 2024.
