Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal had a fulfilling year both on the professional and personal front. While their respective shows Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and Mirzapur Season 3 turned out to be hits, on the personal front, they welcomed their firstborn – a girl they lovingly named Zuneyra Ida Fazal.
The couple joined Filmfare’s Editor-in-Chief Jitesh Pillaai for an exclusive conversation as a part of In The Ring With Filmfare show and opened up about the changes the birth of their daughter has brought
Ali revealed that Richa had perfected the skill of putting their daughter to sleep on time. He said, “She (Richa) has been the master manipulator in the most beautiful way. At around 2 months, she managed to train her to sleep at night. She managed to get her to sleep for the large part of the night.”
To this, Richa replied, “In the first month or so, you are damn confused. You don’t know what’s happening to your body, your body has a weird sense of – the belly you had for nine months is gone. The anxiety level was a bit high initially.”
Ali added, “We are all figuring out. On day one, we were looking at her and wondering what to do. We went to the hospital two people and came back three.”
