Fake notes with Anupam Khers face on it seized

In a bizarre situation, actor Anupam Kher’s face was found on currency notes in Gujarat and fake notes worth Rs 1.60 crore have been seized during a police operation.

As per a statement by commissioner of Police, Rajdeep Nukum, this was inspired by Shahid Kapoor’s series Farzi. The series revolved around the production and circulation of fake currencies. Meanwhile, Anupam Kher is yet to react to the news.

On the work front, Kher will be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. The film is awaiting a nod from the censor board. It’s initial release date was supposed to be on 6th September, but is has been postponed. In the film, the veteran actor is essaying the role of late politician Jayaprakash Narayan Srivastava. Besides Emergency, he will also be seen in The Signature and Vijay 69.
