Following the monumental success of Gadar 2, Zee Studios and director Anil Sharma are back with an exciting new project titled Vanvaas. The announcement came on Dussehra, a fitting occasion for a story that draws inspiration from the Ramayana, reinterpreting the ancient epic for modern times.
Vanvaas is set to explore complex family dynamics, where parents are exiled by their own children, offering a fresh perspective on duty, honour, and emotional bonds. The announcement video, shared on social media, features stunning visuals and a powerful background score, including the captivating Ram Ram song, which promises to resonate deeply with audiences.
Director Anil Sharma, known for delivering blockbusters like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Gadar 2, shared his excitement about the project, describing Vanvaas as a “Kalyug Ka Ramayana.” Umesh Kr Bansal, Chief Business Officer at Zee Studios, added that the film would bring a unique portrayal of modern family relationships.
