Kiara Advani plays the role of Ram Charans wife in Game Changer
Ram Charan’s Game Changer, which premiered on January 10, has witnessed a further dip at the box office.
On Thursday (January 16), the film minted Rs 4.75 crore at the ticket window, reported Sacnilk. Keeping the week one figure in mind, the total collection of Game Changer now stands at Rs 117.90 crore.
The action thriller had an overall 18.02% Telugu occupancy rate on its first Thursday, the report added.
Directed by S Shankar, Game Changer features Kiara Advani in a key role. Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Nassar, Vennela Kishore and SJ Suryah are also part of the project. The movie portrays Ram Charan in a double role as H Ram Nandan and his father Appanna. Kiara essays Ram Charan’s wife Deepika.
Game Changer marks Ram Charan’s first solo release after four years. The South star shared his thoughts at a press meet in Mumbai. He said, “For the first time, I am feeling very alone right now, but also, I am feeling so much welcome. Thanks to all of you here.”
Ram Charan added, “So, maalum nahi yaar, mereko bhi jaldi se jaldi karna hai movies. Maalum nahi itna der kyu hota hai [I do not really know. I also want to do movies as soon as possible. I do not know why it takes so long].”

Previously, S Shankar, in an interview, confessed that he was unhappy with Game Changer‘s output. During a conversation with Behindwoods TV, the director said, “This is a common problem with every filmmaker. No matter what you do, you’ll never feel completely satisfied. I feel I could have done better.”
Shankar added that since Game Changer‘s original runtime was 5 hours long, a significant portion of the film did not make it to the final cut. “Some good scenes and situations were removed during trimming. The total duration exceeded five hours. It’s like sculpting; if we leave it as it is, it’s just a marble,” he said.
